Burnley's Official Song...

Dare to Dream (Mighty Burnley) is the club's official song made by a local school teacher (Andrew Gilmore) and an eight year old girl (Jasmine Clarkson). The song is hoped to boost morale for the fans as well as boost Burnley's promotion hopes. The club's anthem is called 'No Nay Never', an adaptation of the traditional Irish song, "Wild Rover", which has lyrics to offend the club's main rivals Blackburn Rovers.Ironicaly, Burnley's main rivals, Blackburn Rovers, also have 'No Nay Never' as their anthem. Before kick-off, the song "Requiem for a Tower" by Corner Stone Cues is played. As well as this, "Tubthumping" by Chumbawamba (who originated in Burnley) is played. When the team scores, the song "Tom Hark" by The Piranhas is played. Pigbag's most famous hit, "Pappa's Got a Brand New Pigbag" is also played prior to kick off, along with the Clarets' fans own singing, to the lyrics of "Du du du du, Owen Coyle!".
